The commercial director Frank Samuel wanted to have some titles done for his experimental short project documenting a rather quirky but extremely talented white MC and performance poet simply known as Ian. The titles were designed deliberately with the traditional street rough aesthetic and odd timing was applied to the animation to contradict the rather non hip hop appearance of Ian.
